Instructional DesignEvery well designed form of instruction relies on great planning and alignment to rigorous but attainable and measurable objectives. The following is a instructional design professional development that educates teachers on how to write effective SMART objectives by utilizing Bloom's Taxonomy. The goal of this designed professional development course is to help educators improve their objectives to enhance learning outcome for their students. Click the attachment below to view.

Theoretical ApplicationI created this Theoretical application to solve a problem that educators deal with on a daily basis. This Theoretical application focuses on the problem of the lack of intrinsic motivation in learners at the elementary level. The applications provide elementary school educators techniques to implement when planning and presenting lessons to their students that will enhance learners intrinsic motivation. The following provides real world scenarios and effective researched applications that can be used by educators. Click the attachment below to view.

ResearchOne of my goals is to transform the learning environment into a hybrid game/real world scenario based learning environment. This research conducted compares the effectiveness of game/scenario based versus traditional learning styles. I review articles of several case studies that present evidence that game/scenario based learning is effective. The different cases also voice some concerns and areas that can be improved. Effective Images |
Images are a very important aspect of instructional design. The perfect image can be an effective learning tool for students to use as a reference to enhance comprehension of a concept. The following presentation presents the effective visual image of the OREO concept in Opinion/Persuasive writing. The concept uses the image of a double stuffed Oreo cookie to break down the pieces of an Opinion/Persuasive writing paragraph/paper conducted in the elementary school setting.
